WHAT IT IS

Faith formation doesn’t happen all at once. It unfolds.
Faith Forward Curriculum is a quarterly resource designed for churches and faith communities who believe Christian education is not merely about information, but formation—the shaping of lives that reflect the love, justice, humility, and faithfulness of Christ in the world. .

Built for:
• Church School classes
• Small groups
• Intergenerational gatherings
• Individual and home study

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Faith Forward is rooted in three convictions:

1. Faith is lived before it is explained.
That’s why each lesson integrates narrative “Listening Moments,” communal discussion, and embodied action alongside biblical teaching.

2. Community is essential to spiritual growth.
Learning deepens across generations, cultures, and life stages—where wisdom is shared and faith is strengthened together.

3. Direction matters more than speed.
This quarterly invites learners to pause and discern—not just what they believe, but how belief shapes daily life.

HOW EACH LESSON FLOWS

Every weekly lesson follows a steady rhythm that helps teachers lead without rushing and helps learners grow without pressure:

• Opening Reflection
• A Listening Moment (narrative theology)
• Scripture Focus (read together whenever possible)
• Biblical Teaching
• Discussion Questions
• Faith in Action (weekly practice)
A Week in the Word (daily readings to carry the lesson into the week)

SCOPE & SEQUENCE ALIGNMENT

Faith Forward follows the Adult Scope & Sequence of the International Sunday School Lessons (ISSL)—a publicly accessible framework ordering biblical study across the Christian year. No proprietary lesson content is reproduced.
This means your community gets:
• Continuity across Scripture over time
• A clear biblical arc (not isolated weekly topics)
• Original teaching + story-driven formation that’s culturally aware and church-ready
